My Folklore Fabric Tote Bags measure a generous 42.4cm in length, 47.5 in width and 10cm in depthThese cheery colourful cotton Tote Bags are also a real colour tonic to counteract any dreary April days! The woven patterns in the Folklore Fabric can be found in designs throughout our everyday lives, in textiles, interiors and also in architecture so they have a reassuring familiarity to them.

NEW Folklore Fabric Tote Bag

Folklore Fabric is unique to my shop and was an exciting collaboration between myself, as the designer, Richard MR Smith, a master weaver and talented folk at Weisters Mill in Darwen, Lancashire. Since I have only a few Folklore Fabric cushions remaining, I evolved my Folklore Fabric into a useful reusable roomy cotton Tote Bag, ideal for all your shopping purchases, or to keep your daily jetsam and flotsam in when you are out and about.

By lisawato / March 27, 2023 / Comments Off on Rufus the cat or Rosa the dog? Decision please?

Whose the biggest star for modelling my gorgeous British made Harris Tweed and velvet patchwork quilts?

Don’t make me make a decision on this…

Sadly, neither Rufus or Rosa are included with my quilts…BUT my quilts& are an extra special gift for a loved one (or yourself)…if an excuse were needed x

Spring is in the air?

By lisawato / March 20, 2023 /

The uplifting and beautiful cherry blossom is now looking bloomin’ gorgeous in my local park, so I really hope Spring has now finally sprung?

To celebrate the Spring Equinox and the clocks going forward this Sunday 26th, my delicious super soft, super light and super warm Lambswool Blankets are being offered at the special price of £125! My Blankets are woven in Lancashire, measure 200 by 150cm, so look great on a double or king-size bed, as well as being an ideal sofa throw, or warming outside cover up, to keep at hand to combat any chills, if the weather does throw us a curve ball…

Spring Has Sprung?

By lisawato / March 7, 2023 /

For the last couple of weeks
The 🌞 has (mostly!) been out
And it feels as if
Spring has Sprung
I’m ever the optimist 😏

The sunny outlook
Reminded me of this fav image of my original Tana Lawn Liberty Print patchwork quilts
Nothing like these joyful prints
To lift the spirits no end

Not long now though until European Summer Time begins on Sunday, 26th March, and if you fancy treating your ma for Mothering Sunday (on 19th March), or are in need of some colour therapy yourself, By Lisa Watson (that’s me!) made in GB textiles for the home will brighten up your interiors, as well as keep you warm & cosy.

P.S This month I am taking part in the enjoyable @joannehawker#marchmeetthemaker challenge on Instagram, so if you have a moment do check out @lisawatso for my daily updates…
