Authentically British quilts, cushions & more for your home.

What my customers say!

From Mary Aug 18 – I am loving my new Folklore Fabric cushions. Thank you Lisa.

From Julie Dec 17 –  I just wanted to let you know that the gorgeous cushion I won through Make It British arrived today. I am equally excited and delighted, it is stunning, beautifully made and of such high quality.

From Dave Feb17 – Thanks Lisa, we love them!

From Lara Jan17 – We love our new fair isle blanket, as do our cats, who have definitely taken it on as their own. It has made our bed a place that is very hard to leave!

From Caroline Jan17 –  I have wanted one of your quilts for ages! It looks great on a double bed and has modernised the spare bedroom. I am delighted!

From Karl Dec16&Jan17-Thank you so much, just to let you know I safely have my Shackleton quilt it is beautiful definitely worth the wait, it is like Christmas all over again. 🙂 (After receiving his Gentleman Explorers quilt, Karl ordered a couple of Harris Tweed patchwork hot water bottle covers for himself and a friend who had introduced him to Shackleton) Thank you so much – all received and very very happy!

From Vicky – Nov 16  Thank you for the very beautiful quilt. It’s a 40th present for my sister in law. I spent a long time looking for the right quilt and yours were by far the best quality and design. I was also shocked that all the large retailers couldn’t tell me where and who made the quilts despite claims of them being handmade.

From Cam&Becky – Oct 16  Dear Lisa – Thank you so much, it is much appreciated and apologies for disturbing your Sunday. And we are so excited to be giving such a beautiful present, it’s quite true that the mark of a great present is if you’d rather keep it for yourself!

From Helen – June16 My cushion arrived safely yesterday morning. It’s beautiful and I love it loads!  This beautiful cushion was a delight to un-wrap.  The texture and the red, pink, grey and green colours of the Harris Tweed look perfect on my red leather armchair.  The pattern of the blocks of different coloured tweeds give a different look to the cushion depending on which way up you position it .The contrasting reverse of full blown roses on cotton is a brilliant idea. It’s creatively designed, extremely well made and the cover is removable if needed.  And it’s comfortable too! Thank you so much. (Sadly I do not have any images of Helen’s Harris Tweed cushion, so I have included images of an equally luxurious one).

From Chris & Laura – Feb16 Absolutely beautiful handmade quilt with stunning materials sourced from the UK. After 7 months of painstakingly renovating our living room, we wanted to keep the room uncluttered and to introduce colour through a vivid work of  art.. The striking colours of this quilt has added  the life and warmth our living room needed! (just need to keep cat off the quilt!)

From Sally – Jan16 I received the blanket today and absolutely love it! Thank you for your prompt postage. It’s a pleasure to deal with you.

From Suzanne – Aug15 My lovely fella brought me a summer quilt for my birthday (he had heard me mention how lovely they looked). The quality is just superb and an excellent weight, looks perfect on the bed and feels great at night over the duvet. The craftsmanship and love that go into making the quilts is just wonderful, will treasure the quilt forever. (The lovely drawstring cotton bag it arrives in is a beautiful touch too).

From Julie – July’15 Everything was fantastic-the service from Lisa, dealing with queries and keeping me informed, and the quilt itself. I brought the summery cotton quilt in Cool Blues as a gift for a friend on her 50th birthday, and she couldn’t have been more delighted. Highly recommended.

From Marion – November 15 I am so pleased with my beautiful quilt. The colours are lovely and they tone in really well with our bedroom colours. The furniture is a mix of old and new so a tweed quilt fits in very nicely. Now that the nights are cold we have started keeping it on the bed and it is very cosy .We also reverse it to see Annabel’s lovely hemlock fabric. It has been much admired particularly by friends who are into quilts too!

From Geoff & Nicola – September 5 Lisa is very proud of her quilts and justifiably so. I have never seen any like them, photos do not do them justice. We purchased one of Lisa’s handmade quilts (The Shackleton) and it is fabulous. So well made with beautiful fabrics, looks good either way up too. It is also incredibly warm. Wherever possible Lisa sources from within the UK, the only thing on our quilt that isn’t British is the buttons.

From Kaori Laird – September 3 Oh my, my, my! Lisa, what a beautiful thing you create! They are heavenly beautiful! Simply, I am glad I came across your work and brought them!!! Love the bag as well. They look more breathtaking than the picture. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

From Dai-An Craig – August 20 After a summer holiday in Harris and Lewis, I was inspired to buy a Harris Tweed throw for my bed. I was looking for something that was functional with excellent quality, but also a little quirky and with a ‘designer edge’. Lisa’s quilts ticked all the boxes.
I bought Lisa’s ‘sunshine yellow velvet and subtle blues, browns and greys Harris Tweed, quilt. Just love the fabrics, colour combinations and the workmanship is superb. Don’t normally treat myself to such an opulent gift, but it is worth every penny for the comfort, style and craftsmanship. This as a quilt that will be well used, cherished and passed on through the family.
The customer experience was great. Excellent website, easy online purchase, fast delivery and the quilt came packed in a handmade cover with drawstring – which is a nice touch.

Joel's 18th birthday quilt is now stitched and on it's way! This patchwork quilt is made up of all the fabrics that Joel has worn or used in the last 18 years of his life from T-shirts, swimming trunks to school polos and even a Dr Who duvet cover, with all the happy memories that every scrap of fabric contains. I do hope Joel likes his memory quilt.
