Ananda liked her Strawberry Thief Harris Tweed Patchwork Quilt so much she ordered another, even brighter than before. My Folklore Fabric was chosen for the covered buttons to quilt this quilt, while Mansur printed cotton was used to back and edge this King-size + quilt and to compliment the joyful Harris Tweed patchwork top. Ananda wrote on receiving her new HT quilt; It’s beautiful. My son for whom it was a gift, is delighted. Thank you
Stitched and sent in time for the festivities. A whopper of a bespoke Harris Tweed Patchwork quilt for Adrian’s wife to fit in with their décor and big enough for all the family to snuggle up in whilst watching Strictly together. I think I fulfilled the brief? Here’s what Adrian wrote on receiving his new HT quilt; Hi Lisa, My wife absolutely loves the throw/blanket. As you said very heavy but great to keep warm! Thanks for all your help and skill in making it!
A surprise wedding anniversary gift from Chris to his wife. A Harris Tweed and wedding dress quilt commission with colours inspired by Van Gogh’s Still Life: Vase with Pink Roses as this was the colour theme for their wedding. A Harris Tweed patchwork top and a super soft brushed cotton backing, including snippets of the wedding dress; the lace from the bodice; satin from the skirt and the covered buttons repurposed to quilt this unique personalised quilt. Finally, hand embroidered abridged poems were added as spoken at their wedding. I think the Harris Tweed and lace combo looks fabulous x
Jane commissioned a Harris Tweed patchwork quilt and two accompanying complimentary cushions for her partner Steve for his 50th birthday. Lots of e-mail correspondence resulted in a bespoke quilt, just right for Jane & Steve, as well as their cats, so no buttons, but stitched tramlines to quilt their quilt.
Caroline asked me to use a length of beautiful Silk Harris Tweed to stitched a quilted bedspread for Hamish and Louise. Edged & backed in complimentary cotton shirting fabrics this quilted bedspread looks traditional & feels luxurious from the beautiful hand woven silk Harris Tweed, (although as it is silk perhaps not technically Harris Tweed, however this is how it was originally sold to Caroline!)
Ananda asked for yellows in her Harris Tweed quilt, which with added berry red colour pops this patchwork up the traditional. Look closely at any Harris Tweed and there are always lots of colours though! The Stawberry Thief was Ananda’s choice of backing fabric and it really does compliment the Harris Tweed patchwork quilt top, don’t you think?
A bespoke Harris Tweed patchwork quilt commissioned from Dubai and sent to Kent for a godson to grow with and use forever. Here is what Samir said; Upon commissioning Lisa for a unique Harris Tweed quilt for my godson, we were guided through the process in a very prompt, considerate and friendly way. It was a pleasure to work with her and her flexibility and creative flair for interpreting our ideas was first rate.
A winning combination; William Morris The Strawberry Thief with Harris Tweed, a one of a kind bespoke patchwork quilt commission stitched in time for the festivities.
This bespoke Harris Tweed quilt has been commissioned by Asheleigh for her husband’s birthday to fit in with the interior of their traditional flint cottage by the Norfolk coast. Asheleigh e-mailed; The quilt has arrived safely and has exceeded my expectations. You have responded to the brief perfectly and produced a beautiful, sumptuous “comfort blanket” that’s also resilient, subtle and
stylish. Job done! I’m sure it will be greatly appreciated and loved (by man and cat) over many years to come.
A super king size Harris Tweed bespoke commission has been posted to the USA. Arne said; I did receive the bespoke quilt and it is beautiful. It is just what I wanted and I appreciate your hard work and willingness to revise to meet my needs. I would recommend you to anyone looking for a bespoke quilt. Thank you for making this process easy and for delivering what you promised.
As part of The Shackleton 100 commemorations, I was asked to stitch another special Shackleton ‘Gentleman Explorer’ quilt. These quilts are made in collaboration with The Shackleton Clothing Company. The top of the quilt features sumptuous but rugged panels of genuine Harris Tweed, the world-renowned and amazingly hardwearing fabric, woven in Harris on the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The flecks of colour and weaves of the tweed fit in perfectly with the rugged landscape of Elephant Island and the skies and waters of the Southern Ocean, where Shackleton and his men survived their epic adventure.
The back of the quilt includes durable corduroy in just the right gents’ trouser shade, encircled with handsome utilitarian fabrics from Ian Mankin.
The Shackleton is a perfect quilt for the gentleman explorer’s study, bedroom, living room or tent! Ideal for an autumn evening of outdoor banjo playing too!
Thanks to @lisawatso for the most fabulous quilt ever. Isn’t it gorgeous!!! And in my favourite colour…Green!

Lisa is very proud of her quilts and justifiably so. I have never seen any like them, photos do not do them justice.
