Here are two Bespoke Patchwork Quilt Commissions I recently stitched, interestingly both had a rosemary pattern chosen (primarily associated with remembrance, love, fidelity and eternal life) to be Long Arm Quilted onto them for me by the talented Deborah at Dastardly Line
If you wish me to make you a quilt from cherished old clothes, or from your own special stash of fabric, I can work with you to design a quilt to the size&style that fits you&your home. I can also stitch a quilt (-floor cushion-tent-laptop cover-you decide) as a special gift to celebrate a significant event, or I can make a personalised quilt just for you or for a loved one.

I’m booked in for the Festival of Making on Saturday 5th July in Blackburn Cathedral.
It’s Manchester Made Craft Fair at Sale Waterside is on Saturday 19th July from 11m to 5pm.

Spring makes me want to start stitching and my ongoing experimentations with patchwork jackets are ideal for feeding my love of colour and fabrics. Harris Tweed strip style Patchwork
Following a discussion on colours (no red or pink), design (Harris Tweed strip style patchwork top) and fabrics (corduroy and brushed cotton in country colours for the quilt back), I created a bespoke Harris Tweed Patchwork Quilt inspired by and evoking Heather’s son’s enjoyment of the great outdoors.
And here’s what Heather said on receiving her son’s quilt:
