Two Handmade (by me) Square King-size Patchwork Quilts

Description

Two handmade square king-size patchwork quilts with my own wholly unique and colourful fabric stash. These quilts are handmade by me, using upcycled fabrics for the patchwork squares, with a cotton wadding and cotton edging and backing fabrics.

The first patchwork quilt is a mixture of mostly lighter blue and warm pink-orange-red cotton fabrics, both printed and woven. This quilt is backed and edged with a soft brushed checked blue cotton and is quilted using ‘stitch in the ditch’ tramline machine stitch.

The second square king-size patchwork quilt is stitched with vibrant pops of colour in velvets and lots of shades of blues, both printed and woven. This quilt is backed and edged with lightweight cotton denim and has been quilted using ‘stitch in the ditch’ tramline machine stitch.
