Festival of Making & Father’s Day Gifts

A win win, as I will be back at the Hopeful&Glorious Makers Market, as part of this years Festival of Making on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th.

Such excitement, last year when I was featured on a Maker’s Film and I sold a blanket to Patrick Grant of Great British Sewing Fame! Check out what’s on offer, as there is so much to see&do and off course lots of fun to be had for all.

Sunday 16th June is also Father’s Day and here at By Lisa Watson there are lots of madeinGB unique gift ideas for your favourite older man from Folklore Fabric Ties to one of a kind Harris Tweed Patchwork Cushions or delicious British Made Heirloom Wool Blankets. Order on-line or see you at The Festival of Making Makers Market to buy a Father’s Day gift for your old man on (Saturday 15th or) Sunday 16th June. x

I bought Lisa’s ‘sunshine yellow velvet and subtle blues, browns and greys Harris Tweed, quilt. Just love the fabrics, colour combinations and the workmanship is superb.

I am so pleased with my beautiful quilt. The colours are lovely and they tone in really well with our bedroom colours.

Lisa is very proud of her quilts and justifiably so. I have never seen any like them, photos do not do them justice.

Joel's 18th birthday quilt is now stitched and on it's way! This patchwork quilt is made up of all the fabrics that Joel has worn or used in the last 18 years of his life from T-shirts, swimming trunks to school polos and even a Dr Who duvet cover, with all the happy memories that every scrap of fabric contains. I do hope Joel likes his memory quilt.
